Congratulations to macadamia lover, Eamon Sullivan, who made the Australian Olympic team!

Tuesday, March 27, 2012

The team at Nutworks and the Chocolate Factory would like to congratulate Olympic swimmer, Eamon Sullivan, 26, for making the Australian Olympic swimming team!

Sullivan, who is recognised as one of Australia’s most exciting stars of the pool, is as well the Brand Ambassador of the Macadamia Nut in Australia.

Sullivan is for the second year in a row the face of The Worlds Finest Nut, and will be cheering on Aussie farmers as the Macadamia harvest season is around the corner.

Besides being an elite athlete, Sullivan has a passion for cooking, and knows how important it is to eat healthy.

Sullivan said in a statement to the Australia Macadamia Society that he enjoys a handful of macadamias everyday, because they are rich in fiber, contain plenty of protein, and best of all they taste great.

Sullivan has broken the 100m World Record twice, has previously been a participant on Channel Ten’s Celebrity MasterChef, and released his first cook book ‘Eamons’s Kitchen’ in 2011.

From all the macadamia-lovers here on Nutworks and the Chocolate Factory, we wish Sullivan and his team all the best in the 2012 London Olympics!
